EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - The University of Southern Indiana hosted its career fest on Wednesday.

Seventy five businesses set up booths for a meet and greet with job seekers about to graduate from college.

Students came with their resumes, and concerns, about landing a job in this tight economy.

Student Michelle Bryant says, "I'm really hoping, I'm staying positive to maybe somebody out there is still hiring interns or full time positions."

The Evansville Police Department is one of the employers looking for new hires.

The EPD is trying to fill the ranks with more minority and female officers.
