A memorial service was held on Dec. 2 in Silverthorne, Colo. for Stephanie Roller Bruner, a 1987 graduate of Redwood Falls High School and a mother of three. In the meantime, her family is no closer to finding out just how she died. The investigation by the Silverthorne Police Department is ongoing. Roller, 41, of Silverthorne had been reported as missing by her husband a week ago Tuesday morning after going out for a walk the previous night. According to reports form the Silverthorne Police Department, the body of Roller Bruner was found Friday just two blocks from her home in the Blue River, and reports state the coroner's office had to use dental records to identify her. An autopsy was conducted for Roller Bruner this past Monday, but results of that investigation have not been announced, and the police department is continuing to call it an active investigation. According to reports, Roller Bruner had lost her job working for Summit County this past October, and had filed for divorce in early November. Roller Bruner and husband, Dale, had three children, and Roller's extended family included parents Ernie and Cathy and four siblings, Ramona, Chris, Aaron and Cari. A Web site has been established that allows those who are interested the chance to leave memorials for Roller, as well as to learn more about her. A Bruner Children Fund has been set up at Wells Fargo under account number 6403818534.
